(HKI)™ Hellohikimori™ is currently looking for talented graphic & motion design interns and professionization contracts for 2011. We are based in Paris but we are open to worldwide application.

The ideal candidate has :

• Motivation & happiness, fun, creativity & originality.

• A solid portfolio demonstrating your style and / or skills

• Demonstrating cutting-edge design Skills and knowledge in graphic design and typography.

• A good general-culture, espescially in design, art, trends and innovation.

• A good knowledge of the web and his different technology.

• Knowledge of the Adobe software : Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash & AfterEffect

• Make some 3d ( especially with Cinema4D ) and / or being interested in extra-discipline like illustration, film-making or photography is a really cool plus.

• Available at least 4 months starting early january 2011.

Your mission :

• Help the crew on multi-platform projects. ( Web / Motion / Print / Mobile )

• Inquire & participate to the creation & production process.

• You will work on layout, graphic and animation assets, motion design, editing, etc…

• Being a more efficient designer during your internship.

• Progress, explore and discover.

We just released a promotionnal website for True Blood season 3, broadcasted in France by Orange Cinéma Séries.

The experience starts with an interactive trailer allowing the user to fight dangerous werewolfes alongside Bill or Sookie. The journey continues into a large landscape presenting characters, videos, news from trueblood fans, and all the info you need to know about this bloody show.

Orange Cinéma Séries — Glee !

Here comes GLEE ! A musical-drama comedy for the aspiring rockstar in all of us.

Orange cinéma séries, the first channel to bring it in France, commissioned us to find a original way to promote the show on the web.

We chose to create a game allowing people to perform alongside Glee members week after week, on a soundtrack of hits from Queen, Madonna, and more.

Diesel Fragrance — Products Catalogue

In the process of revamping Diesel Fragrance digital presence, our last challenge was to create the catalogue to present their broad range of products.

The goal was to bring under one roof Fuel For Life and Only the Brave franchises and special editions, while expressing each product own personality.

The catalogue also needed to be fully adaptable to each market needs, and ready to welcome future products or franchises, following the development of the brand.

We wanted the whole site to offer a fluid and simple navigation. So we first focused on information architecture and usability to define the main grid which becomes the blackbone of every page.

Then we added the content and the design to express each franchise/product personality.

The site is built in xHTML, jQuery, and various plugins to display seamless transitions between the contents, without reloading the whole page.

And guess what ! It is fully enjoyable on iPad & iPhone while still being compatible with the old Internet Explorer 6 !

Diesel Fragrance — Online Magazine

Diesel Fragrance teamed with us to create it’s online magazine, a place mixing subculture, entertainment and brand happenings : Diesel Fragrance Factory.

The content of the mag is provided by a pool of hand picked creative editors like JeremyVille, or Marcelo Baldin (who already took part in the launch exhibition of Only the Brave we currated in 2008).

The look of the mag is constantly evolving, following the brand voice along the year. On top of the HTML structure, we added some flash bits giving the mag the madness it deserves :

Roll overs are exploding all over the screen & article titles are customized with special typo effects.

Offf 2010 — Presentation

… so we are back to work after these few days focused on the OFFF. It’s been a real pleasure to meet likeminded people from everywhere, and to present our work to such a wide & warm audience.

Our presentation began with the opening video above. After a short introduction of the studio, we quickly moved to the works, and the process behind.

TrueBlood II and Glee, explaining the flash-motion possibilities.

IronMan x Diesel showcasing the 3D-interactive possibilities.

All this was punctuated with side projects & experiments like the last version of our Vidjing, an audio reactive 3D creation. After all this, time to reveal our new showreel for the first time!
